Suitable for freshwater, marine or reptile environments. It is recommended to change your aquarium filter sponges once every few months. Most modern larger filter systems have multiple sponges, you should cycle the sponges through the filter so you never change all of them at once where possible. This is in order to keep some of your beneficial bacteria present for biological filtration.
