Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO for Large Dogs is a veterinary strength medicine providing complete flea and tick control for busy families. Combining the well-known active ingredient fipronil and the insect growth regulator S-methoprene, the Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO range provides dual action flea control to protect your pet and your home.
Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO for Large Dogs kills adult fleas for up to eight weeks, ticks for up to four weeks, protects your home against developing flea eggs and flea larvae for eight weeks and also kills biting lice.
Suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age and weighing 20–40kg.
All pets are at risks from fleas, even dogs that don’t go outside very much, as we can bring them in on our clothes. It is important to establish a regular flea control routine for your pets and your home. For continued protection reapply Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO for Large Dogs every four weeks.
How to use
Do not remove the pipette from the sachet until you are ready to use the product.
Weigh your dog carefully before application to ensure they weigh between 20–40kg. This product is not suitable for dogs weighing more than 40kg.
1. Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off.
2. Turn the cap over and use the other side to break the pipette seal by pushing down and twisting the cap.
3. Part your dog’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the pipette onto the skin.
4. Squeeze the pipette several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin.
Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry.
For continuous protection, reapply Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO for Large Dogs every four weeks.
Safety
Store below 30°C. Store in the original packaging in order to protect from light. Keep away from food and drink, including animal feeding stuffs. Dispose of empty pipettes in the household rubbish immediately after use.
Do not use on dogs under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 20kg and do not use on cats, as this could result in overdosing. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. Do not allow children to play with your dog until the fur is fully dry. Fipronil may adversely affect aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with product or empty pipettes. Do not use on rabbits as serious adverse reaction or even death could occur. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
