API MELAFIX is an all natural anti-bacterial treatment.
Bacterial diseases destroy fish tissues, Melafix can be used to treat open wounds abrasions, fin and tail rot, eye cloud, and mouth fungus, and will promote the re-growth of damaged fin rays & tissue.
Melafix can be used to treat current conditions or as a preventative when adding new fish to the aquarium. New fish always carry the chance of disease and most fish diseases are difficult to detect in the early stages, adding Melafix whenever new fish are added will greatly reduce he risk of contamination.
API Melafix will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or discolor water. It is safe for use in reef aquariums and with live plantsand can be used in fresh or salt water aquariums.
This 118ml bottle will treat a total of 893 liters.
Directions:
Remove any activated carbon from filters before use.
For Disease or Wound Treatment: Add 10ml for every 75 liters of water, and dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, do a 25% water change,then continue treatment, if necessary.
When Adding new fish: Add 10ml for every 75 liters of water and dose daily for 3 days.
